Country Club of Ocala is an exquisite community featuring golf, tennis, a junior olympic swimming pool, fitness center, restaurants and more. Located between the city limits of Ocala and Belleview, the CCO expresses a warm feeling of home with lush landscapes and water features with one acre homesites developed around the 18 hole golf course. Just shy of 200 homes sites the community was developed from 1993 to present. From semi custom homes averaging over 2,000 Living sq ft to custom estate homes over 7,000 living sq ft. Developers planned Country Club of Ocala with the goal of fostering a community of camaraderie and friendship. While there is a sense of exclusivity with the 24/7 manned gate, golf and social memberships are extended to homeowners outside the neighborhood, allowing residents camaraderie with more of their neighbors in the surrounding communities.
The 18-hole championship golf course designed by Steve Nuegent has hosted some of the most prestigious amateur events in the area. The course offers a challenging and enjoyable 6920 yard, Par 72 experience that caters to players regardless of skill set with five sets of tees, a spacious double tee driving range, two putting greens, and a short game practice area.
The Country Club of Ocala Tennis Academy was founded in 1994 and features five clay hydro courts and two hard courts. A staff of professionals are available for private lessons and group clinics.
